Dear readers, I return! Since I last wrote, some few things have changed- for one thing, I have returned to school, hopefully to remain until I achieve a degree. I have taken this drastic and desperate action in an attempt to keep my brain from oozing out through my ears, liquefied by lack of stimulation. Thus far, it seems to be working.
In addition I have… well, not finished a story, but made a portion of my novella-in-progress available to the public. You may read it here, and I would encourage you to do so. We now have two and a half cats. This is not as unsanitary as it sounds at first, as the half is a part-timer who I have decided to call Winston. He's a stout, handsome marmalade fellow with a white bib and white toes, and exceptionally sweet, despite being built a bit like a bulldog (if a bulldog were a cat). He comes by 3 or 4 times a week, weather permitting, and stays anywhere from ten minutes to ten hours. We look forward to his visits, although our two established cats use quite shocking language whenever they see him in the house. Zeke has been attempting to work out a method which will allow him to growl and bathe or nap at the same time, although he has so far succeeded only in looking and sounding extremely silly. Winston remains polite and calm in the face of all of this.
Alas, I am afraid that the time of my departure has come around again.
Until we meet again, my friends,
Adieu.
